Using Test for I-deas with PULSE
Using PULSE™ Hardware with Test for I-deas
PULSE IDAe data acquisition hardware can be used directly with Test for I-deas measurement tasks. All measurement tasks are supported including Stationary Processing, Transient Processing and Sine Measurements. From PULSE version 10.2 the vendor library driver, that enables you to use Brüel & Kjær hardware, is available for free and is automatically installed with PULSE Labshop.
No additional licenses are required to use the driver with I-deas.
NOTE: If you use the vendor library driver provided with PULSE 10.3, you must update your installation with the PULSE 10.3 Firmware Update
Using I-deas Data with PULSE Software
PULSE’s time file management software, Type 7789, is able to import time history files saved in I-deas Test’s native format (.ati). Once imported into the PULSE software environment, the full range of analysis techniques provided with PULSE are available.
